Delta Unveils Cutting-Edge IIoT Solutions at SPS Nuremberg 2023
Delta has just participated in SPS Nuremberg 2023 from November 14 to 16. Under the theme "Connecting Devices, Shaping Solutions," Delta demonstrated integrated hardware and software solutions with key highlights including its IIoT Solution, SCADA System VTScada, the newly debuted PLC-Based Motion Controller AX-5 Series and Compact Multi-Drive MX300 Series, and the Open-Loop Variable-Torque Standard Drive VP3000 Series for the fluid industry to define the future of Industry 4.0 and smart manufacturing.
Michael Mayer-Rosa, senior business director of DACH, Industrial Automation Business Group, Delta Electronics Europe, Middle East & Africa (EMEA) region, said, "Embracing the future of the Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT) requires more than just innovation; it demands a seamless integration of hardware and software solutions. Our commitment to integrated excellence defines a dynamic IIoT landscape, merging connectivity with technology precision. We invite you to visit our booth to experience how we redefine industrial potential in this era of digital transformation."
During the three-day exhibition, Delta showcased its upgraded IIoT Solution that fully integrates the new Human Machine Interface DOP Series and IIoT-Cloud Based Platform DIACloud, streamlining operations by removing the necessity for VPN routers. The soon-to-be released software DIAWeb Designer enables users to build customized dashboards that present data visualization on monitoring screens or mobile devices to facilitate efficient decision-making processes and grasp the real-time status of the production line.
In terms of controllers, Delta unveiled the new generation PLC-Based Motion Controller AX-5 Series with multi-axis motion controllers and slice-type remote I/O modules, extending the capabilities of the series. With cutting-edge multi-core processors, the AX-5 Series features lightning-fast response and boasts versatile interfaces. Supporting multiple communication protocols without extra modules, it excels in IIoT connectivity. The slim remote I/O modules, merely 12 mm thick, save up to 50% cabinet space and feature a user-friendly design with a removable connector and a handy DIN rail clip. The AX-5 Series seamlessly integrates into Delta’s DIADesigner-AX software, offering a hassle-free user experience.
In addition, Delta demonstrated the Open-Loop Variable-Torque Standard Drive VP3000 Series for fan, pump, and compressor applications. The VP3000 Series is specially designed to boost fluid machine operation efficiency with its high power rating of up to 630 kW and enhance productivity with harmonic distortion (THDi) reduced 35% in industrial motors.
